Matron Iris

A beef-farm girl from out past Gloucester who trained as a nurse and ran a country hospital ward for eighteen years as matron. Very little shocks her. She brings the study, the numbers and what we actually know, and she'll defend a good Sunday roast with the guidelines in hand.

“Lovely theory. Show me the trial.”
