An Albany mum put her family's ADHD scripts in five days early back in January and still couldn't get them filled. The TGA projects the Concerta shortage will run to December. Menopause hormone treatments and blood pressure tablets are on the list too.

Here's the line that made me put my tea down. Australia imports 90 per cent of its prescribed medicines and makes up two per cent of world demand. The Pharmacy Guild says we're the first to feel a shortage and the last to get replenished.
