After very rare blood clots were flagged overseas, and one Melbourne man was hospitalised, Chief Medical Officer Paul Kelly announced Pfizer is now preferred over AstraZeneca for adults under fifty. People who had a first dose with no problems can have their second. Anyone who had clots with low platelets after the first shouldn't.
I'll give them this. They changed the advice when the evidence changed, and they said so out loud.
But I've got a question for whoever's running the timeline. The whole plan leaned on one vaccine. What was plan B, and why are we only hearing about it now? I made my own call a while back. That's mine to make, and yours is yours.
