On Tuesday the TGA approved the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine for adults eighteen and over. Two doses, twelve weeks apart. Australia has 53.8 million doses lined up, and 50 million of those are to be made in Melbourne by CSL. It keeps in an ordinary fridge, which suits the GPs.
Here's the line I went back to. People over 65 had a strong immune response, but there weren't enough COVID cases in that trial group to say how well it works for them. So it's case by case.
